The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, met in Nouakchott yesterday with the Executive Secretary of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States, Brigi Rafini, on the sidelines of the 49th session of the OIC Foreign Ministers Council.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the prospects for cooperation between the OIC and the Community of Sahel-Saharan, as well as the challenges facing the Sahel region.
