OIC Condemns Israeli Minister’s Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Jeddah: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque by an Israeli minister, carried out with the protection of Israeli occupation forces, as well as the continued closure of the mosque and the prevention of worshippers from entering. According to Saudi Press Agency, the OIC described these actions as part of Israel's repeated violations of the sanctity of holy sites and freedom of worship, and a blatant breach of the Geneva Conventions and international law. The OIC held the Israeli occupation authorities fully accountable for the consequences of these ongoing daily attacks on Jerusalem, its people, and its holy sites. It urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in putting an end to these violations, which continue to fuel extremism and destabilize the region.
