Al-Jouf: The National Water Company (NWC), through its Northern Cluster, has launched four water and wastewater projects across Al-Jouf Region, totaling over SAR385 million. These projects aim to improve water and wastewater supply and meet increasing demand.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the water projects include two projects, valued at over SAR256 million, involving pipelines and networks with a length of nearly 223 kilometers. This includes the construction of a treatment plant with a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day and operational reservoirs with a storage capacity exceeding 55,000 cubic meters. The sanitation projects, worth over SAR129 million, will add more than 197 kilometers of pipelines and networks.
NWC highlighted that these projects are among the company's goals and strategies to expand the provision of water and wastewater services and align with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives to improve the quality of life and services for the population.
