London: New Murabba, a company under Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, and the United Kingdom's National Composites Centre (NCC) have entered into a memorandum of understanding aimed at fostering innovation and facilitating the exchange of knowledge. The agreement, signed at the Great Futures Summit in London, spans two years and seeks to advance the application of advanced materials and technologies within New Murabba.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU was signed by New Murabba CEO Michael Dyke and NCC CEO Richard Oldfield. This collaboration is set to support New Murabba's strategy to incorporate global best practices in innovation and urban design, aiming to redefine urban living through sustainable and smart spaces. The NCC, a member of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult (HVMC), is renowned for converting cutting-edge research into practical applications in manufacturing and advanced materials.
Michael Dyke expressed that the partnership is in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to drive sustainable development, innovation, and knowledge transfer. This initiative is expected to empower local talent and future industries. Dyke emphasized the significance of the collaboration with NCC, highlighting it as a pivotal step for New Murabba.
