Riyadh: The National Curriculum Center has introduced updated educational curricula for the academic year 1447/1448 AH, as part of comprehensive development plans aimed at aligning the educational process with contemporary changes and preparing a generation equipped with the skills and knowledge to compete in future fields, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the newly developed curricula include subjects such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, tourism and hospitality, fashion, art and design, and first aid, in line with modern requirements. The center has also enhanced Chinese and English language teaching, in addition to developing a Quran teacher's guide and a guide to learning areas for the kindergarten stage.

The new curricula employ innovative teaching and assessment methods, keeping pace with global developments in education and training, and providing students with broader opportunities to discover their abilities and develop their future skills.

This step reflects a strategic direction through which the center seeks to modernize the educational sector in an integrated manner, focusing on developing students' capabilities in critical thinking, innovation, and technical skills, while promoting national and humanitarian values within a stimulating educational environment.

The center continues to focus on adopting study plans and curricula in partnership with relevant ministries and entities. It emphasizes the integration of technology tools in education, encourages critical and creative thinking, and prioritizes early education by developing resources for the kindergarten and early childhood stages. Guidance manuals for teachers have been prepared to ensure quality education for all groups.

Through partnerships with the private sector, the center also works to enrich educational content by licensing international curricula and ensuring textbooks reach schools in record time.
