New Ardhona Issue Highlights Mineral Research, Geological Hazards

Riyadh: The Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) has released the 28th issue of its annual Ardhona Scientific Journal on geology and mining, featuring specialized research on minerals in the Kingdom and underscoring their economic and strategic importance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the research identifies the locations of minerals such as nickel, gold, and titanium and provides an in-depth overview of geological hazards. This initiative aims to raise awareness and strengthen community preparedness for natural phenomena, ensuring that citizens and stakeholders are informed about potential geological challenges.

SGS spokesperson Tariq bin Ali Aba Al-Khail stated that the publication of Ardhona reflects the agency's ongoing efforts to advance geological research and promote knowledge exchange both locally and internationally. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating vital information that can contribute to the Kingdom's economic development and enhance its strategic capabilities in the field of geology and mining.
