Riyadh: The National Center for Security Operations (NCSO) received 2,606,704 calls through the Unified Emergency Number 911 in Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern Region in January 2025.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the 911 Security Operations Centers play a key role in managing emergency calls, swiftly directing them to the appropriate security and service agencies through advanced automated systems. Operated by a highly trained, multilingual workforce, these centers provide round-the-clock service with accuracy and professionalism.
The breakdown of received calls by region shows that the Makkah Region handled 845,940 calls, the Riyadh Region received 1,238,275 calls, and the Eastern Region recorded 522,489 calls. With millions of emergency calls managed each month, the NCSO plays a vital role in ensuring swift response times and effective crisis management across the Kingdom.
