Riyadh: The National Center for Security Operations announced that its unified emergency number, 911, received a total of 2,779,711 calls across Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions in July 2025. These centers play a crucial role in receiving and transferring calls to the relevant security and service agencies based on their jurisdiction, utilizing advanced automated systems operated by specialized, multilingual employees who work around the clock with high accuracy and professionalism.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Riyadh Region had the highest number of received calls, with 1,164,066. Makkah Region followed with 845,165 calls, while the Eastern Region center received 526,664 calls. Madinah Region recorded 243,816 calls.
