Najran: Najran University secured the gold medal at the 50th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2025, held from April 9 to 13 in Switzerland.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the university received recognition for its initiative to create a groundbreaking nanophotocatalyst. This innovation utilizes locally sourced biocarbon from date pits, augmented with gold nanoparticles and zinc oxide, with the goal of addressing industrial wastewater treatment.
