Makkah: Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa inaugurated in Makkah the MWL's new digital platform, which includes the 'Minhaj' application. The launch ceremony was attended by senior scholars of the Muslim world, representatives of Islamic bodies and organizations, and experts and specialists in Islamic affairs.

According to Saudi Press Agency, an overview was presented during the launch of the platform's key features and its role in introducing a shift in the league's institutional communication system as part of its strategic plans to enhance engagement with Muslim communities inside and outside the Islamic world.

Al-Issa emphasized that this digital transformation is a step within the MWL's efforts to advance its technical tools and strengthen communication with Muslim peoples, particularly through technological services that meet their needs. He noted that the MWL continues to enhance its technical capabilities in line with the development of modern technologies.

He explained that the application is the first of its kind due to its extensive Sharia-based foundation, which unites scholars of the Muslim nation who are members of assemblies, bodies, and councils affiliated with the MWL. This grants the platform a level of institutional credibility, addressing the confusion and contradictions found in many circulating religious programs, while also adding new services, making it an integrated technical advancement within an international Sharia-based framework.

The 'Minhaj' platform offers a range of interactive digital services in several world languages, filling a gap, particularly in addressing the confusion and contradictions found in many existing applications, while also adding essential and urgent services.
