Makkah, The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the crime of Israeli occupation government officials, Knesset members, and extremist settlers who stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque. In a statement by the General Secretariat, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa denounced these reckless actions that violate the sanctity of religious sites. He said that these actions represent a serious violation of international and humanitarian laws and conventions, provoke the feelings of Muslims worldwide, and undermine peace efforts and the prospects for a just and lasting solution through the establishment of a Palestinian state on the pre-1967 lines with East Al-Quds as its capital.
