MWAN Launches Initiative to Educate University Students on Circular Economy and Recycling

Makkah: The National Center for Waste Management (MWAN) has launched a training program for university students on the principles of the circular economy and recycling. The program targets 19 major universities across the Kingdom, featuring comprehensive scientific and technical content developed and delivered by MWAN's experts.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program offers students the opportunity to explore the latest trends and technologies in the waste management sector, while highlighting best practices in waste treatment and sustainability.

The initiative's first phase was launched at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah and Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah. MWAN emphasized that empowering young national talent is a crucial foundation for achieving progress and fostering economic development.

MWAN is at the forefront of developing the Kingdom's waste management sector by adopting global best practices, enhancing community awareness, and empowering national competencies.
