Erbil: The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the targeting of the residences belonging to the president of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). These incidents are part of a series of attacks affecting the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, issued a statement denouncing these acts of aggression. He emphasized that such actions violate religious values and international and humanitarian laws and norms. The Secretary-General also highlighted that these attacks pose a threat to the security and stability not only within the Kurdistan Region but across Iraq as well.
