GCC Secretary-General Condemns Iranian Attack on Kuwaiti Military Camp

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi condemned in the strongest terms the brutal Iranian attack on a camp belonging to the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, which resulted in the injury of 10 of its personnel.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi affirmed that this treacherous Iranian attack is clear evidence of its hostile intent toward the State of Kuwait and the GCC countries, and constitutes a grave violation of the sovereignty of Kuwait and a blatant assault on military facilities belonging to the Kuwaiti Armed Forces. He added that this attack represents a serious escalation affecting the security and stability of the region.

The GCC secretary-general also expressed the GCC's full solidarity with the State of Kuwait and its support for all measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
