Moderate to Heavy Rain Expected Across Multiple Regions in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for Tuesday, predicting moderate to heavy rain that may lead to flash floods in several regions of Saudi Arabia. The affected areas include Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, Eastern, Madinah, Makkah, Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, and Najran. The inclement weather is expected to be accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds, with fog potentially forming in parts of these regions. Light snow is also a possibility over the highlands of the Tabuk Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the winds over the Red Sea are anticipated to vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern part and southeasterly to southerly winds in the central and southern parts, reaching speeds of 15-50 km/h. Wave heights may range from half a meter to over two meters, causing the sea to be calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds are forecasted to be southeasterly to southerly at speeds of 16-50 km/h. The sea conditions will be similar to those in the Red Sea, with wave heights expected to range from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in calm to choppy seas.
