Misk Tarout Master Plan Approved to Boost Island Development

Riyadh:Eastern Region Approval of the Misk Tarout master plan for Darin and Tarout Island is a significant step forward in the island's development, as highlighted by Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Eastern Region and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharqia Development Authority. He expressed appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their support and commitment to sustainable development in the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Saud stated that the master plan aims to leverage available opportunities to integrate economic, urban, and environmental projects. This integration aligns with the islands' development goals and is expected to enhance their attractiveness to future investments and projects.

Dr. Talal bin Nabil Almaghlouth, Acting CEO of the Sharqia Development Authority, explained that the vision for the development plan was created in collaboration with the Tarout and Darin Island Development Foundation and Al-Seif Real Estate Company. The plan aligns with the approved strategy for the islands and supports investors by providing a conducive planning and regulatory environment. This environment is designed to transform investment opportunities into sustainable and high-quality projects, thereby improving investment efficiency and boosting confidence in the region's investment climate.
