Misk Global Forum 2024 Launches Third Edition of Global Youth Index.

Dhahran: The Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk) has launched the third edition of the Global Youth Index during the eighth edition of the Misk Global Forum held in Prince Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City, the world's first nonprofit city of its kind. The launch of the Global Youth Index reflects Misk's efforts to enhance the global role of youth. The index serves as a strategic tool to empower young people by providing comprehensive insights based on accurate and reliable data related to the challenges and opportunities they face worldwide. According to Saudi Press Agency, since its inception in 2018, the index has been a comprehensive reference, offering in-depth analyses that measure factors affecting youth in 40 countries across various fields, including education, skills, entrepreneurship, and health. The index's findings are built on expert evaluations of public policies, data from trusted sources, and a survey conducted with 41,000 young men and women globally. This comprehensive approach undersco res Misk's continued commitment to supporting youth aspirations and guiding decision-makers in designing effective programs to address their needs and challenges. In addition to serving as a measurement tool, the Global Youth Index provides an in-depth analysis of the state of youth in Saudi Arabia, enabling the Kingdom to compare its performance with other countries. It also supports the enhancement of initiatives and the sustainable enhancement of efforts to empower youth. With its expanded indicators and detailed themes, the index aims to offer international rankings that encourage countries to improve their strategies to meet the needs of youth worldwide. At this year's Misk Global Forum, the foundation showcased the third edition of the index through interactive monitors, raising awareness about key challenges facing youth, starting discussions, and allowing visitors to track the index's findings, which was first launched in 2018.
