Doha: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex in Madinah, has distributed 5,000 copies of the Holy Quran in various sizes during the 34th Doha International Book Fair.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the copies, part of a total of 10,000 allocated for the event, were handed out during the fair's first four days at the Saudi pavilion. The initiative is part of the ministry's effort to promote Islam's message of tolerance and strengthen Saudi Arabia's cultural and Dawah presence at international events by producing and distributing the Holy Quran.

The Saudi pavilion's ministry section drew strong interest from visitors, who expressed appreciation for information on the Quran's printing process - from review to final production. The section also showcased various complex publications, including translations of the Quran's meanings into 77 different languages, and displayed printing technologies, highlighting Saudi Arabia's global commitment to preserving and sharing copies of the Holy Quran.
