Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development Enhances Digital Services for Hajj Season 1446 AH

Riyadh: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has implemented a comprehensive digital services package aimed at facilitating procedures for individuals and establishments during the Hajj season of 1446 AH. This initiative is designed to overcome challenges and improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims, in collaboration with various government agencies.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry's electronic application played a pivotal role, offering around-the-clock services for individuals and establishments. These services included reporting labor regulation violations, providing family counseling, and enabling rapid donations. The "Mawaamah" application was particularly noteworthy for its services to people with disabilities, offering features such as sign language translation, communication assistance for the visually impaired, and tools for accurately explaining emergency situations.

The Ministry also addressed the seasonal labor market through the "Ajeer Al-Hajj" platform, which allowed establishments to utilize the national workforce and seasonal contract workers. The platform issued over 40,000 permits by mid-season, with 3,185 contracting establishments and 39,766 workers involved. It also hosted over 38,000 CVs, highlighting its effectiveness in supporting entities serving pilgrims.

These digital initiatives align with the Ministry's dedication to leveraging modern technologies to enhance the pilgrimage experience, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The Ministry is committed to advancing digital transformation by developing an integrated digital infrastructure, adopting artificial intelligence solutions, and utilizing smart analytics for informed decision-making. This commitment underscores the Ministry's focus on enhancing business reliability, improving user experience, strengthening technical partnerships, and investing in data as a strategic asset.
