Jeddah: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in cooperation with the Council of Senior Scholars and the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), will organize the 49th edition of the Grand Hajj Symposium on Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Jeddah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the symposium is part of the ministry's efforts to highlight the concept of capacity in Islamic Sharia and explore its jurisprudential dimensions in light of contemporary developments, aiming to facilitate the performance of Hajj and uphold the objectives of Islamic law.
This year's symposium will feature the participation of ministers, senior scholars, heads of Hajj offices and missions, as well as specialists and interested attendees from within the Kingdom and abroad.
It will showcase diverse scholarly and intellectual experiences and examine one of the key concepts in contemporary Hajj jurisprudence, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in support of pilgrims.
