Minister of Transport and Logistics Inspects Hajj Bus Services for Pilgrims

Makkah: His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser, inspected the shuttle bus movement for the pilgrims to the Grand Mosque in Makkah. The aim was to ensure the level of services provided to the pilgrims and ensure a safe transportation experience between the holy sites and the Grand Mosque.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Eng. Al-Jasser also visited the shuttle station west of Jamarat leading to the Grand Mosque, which was established by the General Transport Center in partnership with relevant authorities. The station aims to facilitate the transportation of pilgrims to perform Tawaf al-Ifadah and complete their rituals.

A shuttle lane has been allocated to isolate bus traffic from pedestrians to ensure the safety of pilgrims and facilitate traffic flow. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes, and 100 buses have been provided, each accommodating 125 passengers, with a capacity of up to 20,000 passengers per hour for each station.
