Minister of Justice Meets with Hungarian Counterpart to Enhance Judicial Cooperation

Budapest: Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani met with Hungarian Minister of Justice Bence Tuzson during his official visit to Hungary to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in the judicial sector. The meeting focused on reviewing Saudi Arabia's judicial developments under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with particular attention to specialized legislation aimed at expediting justice.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Samaani highlighted the Kingdom's focus on capacity building through structured legal training via the Judicial Training Center. He also emphasized key substantive and procedural reforms in the justice sector, particularly the implementation of the preventive justice system, which is designed to address and mitigate potential sources of conflict between parties.

During the visit, Al-Samaani also signed a memorandum of understanding with Head of Hungary's National Judicial Office Gy¶rgy Senyei to foster cooperation in judicial systems and develop the professional competencies of judges and legal personnel.
