Mina: His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh received the Mufti of the Malaysian State of Penang, Sheikh Muhammad Shawqi Othman, and the Mufti of the State of Selangor, Dr. Anhar Ubair, at the ministry's headquarters in Mina. This meeting was part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah, implemented by the ministry.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting began with His Excellency welcoming the two Malaysian muftis, extending wishes for an accepted Hajj and blessed efforts. He emphasized that hosting key Islamic figures aligns with the leadership's commitment to serving Islam and enhancing communication with scholars and preachers.
The muftis expressed gratitude to the Kingdom's leadership for their attention and care towards the Guests of Allah. They acknowledged the well-organized arrangements that facilitated the performance of rituals with ease. Furthermore, they commended the Kingdom's significant role in serving Islam and Muslims as well as the Ministry of Islamic Affairs' efforts in promoting moderation and the true image of Islam, highlighting the Kingdom as a model in these endeavors.
