Minister Al-Fadley Inspects Readiness of Environment, Water and Agriculture Sector for Hajj 1445

Riyadh: Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley paid an inspection visit to the holy sites to review the readiness of the environment, water, and agriculture systems to provide services to the pilgrims during the Hajj season 1445 AH. He reviewed the operational process plans at the monitoring and control center. During his field tour, Al-Fadley examined the development projects for the infrastructure of water and environmental services implemented by the National Water Company (NWC) in Makkah and the holy sites. He reviewed water supply projects and the projects for implementing water and sewage network lines. At the end of the tour, Al-Fadley held a meeting to review the progress of the implementation stages of existing projects and the latest developments in the implementation of future plans for water and environmental projects in Makkah and the holy sites. Al-Fadley also reviewed the key tasks implemented by the NWC and the plans and programs it has be en working on from an early date to prepare for this year's Hajj season, utilizing its qualified national teams and smart technologies. He urged everyone to redouble their efforts and exert all capabilities to improve the quality of services provided to the pilgrims, in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership, to ensure the pilgrims can perform their rituals easily and conveniently.
