A statement by the Lebanese government said that the Iranian Foreign Minister affirmed during the meeting his country's keenness and support for Lebanon in the face of Israeli aggression, noting that Tehran will launch a diplomatic campaign to support Lebanon, also calling on the Organization of the Islamic Conference to hold an urgent meeting.
