Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Discusses with US Official Stopping War on Lebanon

Caretaker Foreign Minister of Lebanon Abdallah Bou Habib, on Friday met with US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara Leaf at the Lebanese Embassy in Washington. Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported today that Leaf emphasized the importance of expediting the election of a president given the current circumstances in Lebanon. The meeting also addressed Lebanon's urgent humanitarian needs amid an unprecedented displacement crisis, with the number of displaced Lebanese exceeding 1.2 million.
