Mawhiba’s Summer Enrichment Programs Conclude, Benefiting Over 13,400 Students in 24 Cities

Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has concluded its 2025 summer enrichment programs, conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Education and 70 scientific entities including universities, research centers, and hospitals. More than 13,400 students from across the Kingdom participated in the programs.

According to Saudi Press Agency, held over the span of a month in 24 cities and governorates, the summer enrichment programs, offered in both in-person and virtual formats, are considered among the largest and most distinguished extracurricular educational events in the Arab world and the Middle East. They represent a cornerstone in the journey of discovering and nurturing gifted individuals.

Through 105 specialized programs, Mawhiba offered advanced educational and research experiences in STEM fields, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, renewable energy, engineering, biomedical sciences, advanced mathematics, creative design, digital forensics, and other future-oriented disciplines aligned with the developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

During the programs, students engaged in hands-on learning and intensive training in universities and specialized centers, under the supervision of leading local and international experts and trainers. The learning environments combined theoretical and practical approaches while catering to the needs and interests of gifted students.

The strong turnout for the enrichment programs reflects a growing societal awareness of the importance of nurturing young minds and guiding them toward paths of excellence. It also underscores Mawhiba's commitment to preparing a creative Saudi generation equipped with the tools of the future, capable of leading the national transformation under the Saudi Vision 2030 and building an innovation- and knowledge-based economy.
