Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education, today launched the preparatory program for international participation in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Ibdaa 2025). The program aims to prepare participants for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2025) in the United States, set to take place next May, as well as the Taipei International Science Fair (TISF) in Taiwan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the program, held at the Mishkat Interactive Center at King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy in Riyadh, will run until February 26 and involves 50 male and female innovators, including 19 male students and 31 female students from 15 educational districts. During the program, mentors will review students' projects, determine action plans to strengthen them, and provide guidance until the final submission deadline for the competitions.
Participants will attend workshops on presentation skills and project showcases and gain insight into the judging mechanisms used in international competitions. Additionally, the Scientific Ethics Committee will review the ethical standards related to experiments for each project.
