The Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Sidi Yahya Cheikhna Lemrabott, emphasized that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Competition for Memorizing the Holy Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah has the full support of Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani. He noted that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Original Education has provided all necessary resources and requirements for the competition's success. Lemrabott highlighted the competition's significance in promoting moderation and tolerance while rejecting extremism among the youth. He stressed its role in encouraging them to connect with the Holy Quran and follow the Prophet's Sunnah. The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, in collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Original Education in Mauritania, organized the inaugural Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Competition in Nouakchott.
