Makkah: The Makkah Route Initiative, part of the Pilgrim Experience Program under the Ministry of Interior and aligned with Vision 2030, continues to assist pilgrims from Bangladesh. The initiative is executed in collaboration with several government entities across 10 countries through 17 international ports, providing a dedicated lounge for pilgrims at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative, now in its eighth year and implemented in Bangladesh for the sixth time since 2017, demonstrates the Kingdom's commitment to offering efficient services to pilgrims. Bangladeshi pilgrims have expressed satisfaction with the services, which include completing travel formalities in their home country and having luggage transferred directly to accommodations in Makkah and Madinah, easing their journey for Umrah and Hajj rituals.
