Madinah: Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz received Director General of the General Directorate of Passports Saleh Al-Murabba as part of the ongoing oversight of government preparations for the 1446 AH Hajj season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the directorate's operational plans were reviewed, which focus on leveraging modern technology for document verification and supporting field operations across Madinah Region to ensure the smooth arrival of pilgrims.
Prince Salman commended the proactive services offered by the Makkah Route Initiative, which streamlines procedures for international pilgrims in their home countries, significantly reducing wait times and enhancing their overall experience upon arrival, particularly at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
Al-Murabba affirmed the General Directorate of Passports' full readiness for the Hajj season. Supported by skilled personnel and advanced technologies, the directorate is operating under an integrated system designed to ensure the highest levels of comfort and reassurance for pilgrims.
