Lomi Hasawi Exhibition Draws Large Crowd with Promising Innovations

Riyadh: The Lomi (lime) Hasawi Exhibition, organized by the Al-Ahsa Chamber in collaboration with the Al-Ahsa Development Authority, saw a massive turnout of visitors and delegations of businessmen and officials from across the Kingdom and the Gulf.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the exhibition features 73 pavilions showcasing innovative products derived from Hasawi lomi, in addition to youth initiatives and booths for artisans and families working in the cottage industry. All of these have attracted significant interest and engagement from the visitors.

Over the course of three days, the exhibition hosted the "Lomithon" hackathon in partnership with King Faisal University. More than 60 entrepreneurs presented 14 innovative projects aimed at enhancing the value of lomi and turning it into promising economic opportunities.

The exhibition also includes a variety of interactive events, such as a live cooking platform that hosts prominent chefs from the Kingdom and the Gulf, in addition to tourist programs and handicraft workshops.
