Riyadh: The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission recently hosted an engaging virtual meeting focused on comics and manga. The session showcased Saudi Arabia's journey in creating and developing graphic stories.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the commission shared its initiatives to boost the comic-book industry by adapting several classic Saudi novels into graphic formats aimed at attracting a younger audience, especially teenagers.
In addition, various training programs were introduced to help develop skills and talents within this realm.
