Lebanese President Sends Congratulations to Saudi Leadership on Founding Day

Lebanon: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of Founding Day.



According to Saudi Press Agency, in a cable sent to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, President Aoun highlighted that Founding Day reaffirms the deep-rooted history of the Kingdom and the rich heritage of its people. He expressed his wishes for continued progress, prosperity, development, and peace for the Kingdom.



President Aoun also emphasized his commitment to fostering relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia across various fields and to strengthening the ties between their peoples.



In his message, he wished the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques continued good health and success, alongside further prosperity and well-being for the Kingdom.



In a separate cable to HRH the Crown Prince, Aoun remarked that Founding Day signifies the Kingdom’s history of unity, solidarity, and cohesion. He expressed pride in the strong ties between the two nations and acknowledged the historical relations, which are reflected in the Kingdom’s steadfast support for Lebanon through different circumstances and challenges.



He also extended his wishes for HRH the Crown Prince’s continued good health and success, as well as further prosperity and well-being for the Kingdom.
