Riyadh: The Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, has announced a new requirement for submitting a periodic industrial survey through the Industry platform. This submission is now essential for factories and service providers wishing to register on the mandatory list or add products to the national product list, effective December 1, 2025.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority and the ministry have emphasized that completing the industrial survey is a compulsory step for accessing these services. Factories that fail to complete the survey by the deadline will be removed from the national list of local product sources, which is published on the LCGPA website.
The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources initiated the periodic Industrial Scan program on February 25, 2025, aiming to update data for all factories across the Kingdom. The ministry has urged industrial establishments to update their industrial registry information through the Industry platform promptly, ensuring the accuracy and continuity of national industrial data.
