Kuwait Boy Scouts Association is an example to be followed in the region, said Amr Hamdy, secretary general of Arab Scout Region at the World Organization of the Scout Movement Sunday.

At the conclusion of the voluntary work management course, Hamdy said the Kuwaiti branch will move to a new stage of progress thanks to the determination in attending such events.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the Kuwait Boy Scout Association Hussein Maqseed said that the course is the first of its kind in the Arab world, which is held for the heads and members of the committees working in the association.

Last week, the Arab Scout Region launched a course called “Development of Voluntary Work Management” for leaders in the association.

It included workshops on management and leadership methods in volunteer and community work.
