Kuwait City: The State of Kuwait has extended its support for the newly adopted roadmap aimed at resolving the ongoing crisis in Sweida and ensuring stability in southern Syria. This roadmap is a collaborative effort agreed upon by the Syrian Arab Republic, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the United States of America.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement expressing optimism that this significant development will aid in shaping the future of a new Syria and meet the aspirations of its people. The statement also reinforced Kuwait's commitment to supporting both regional and international initiatives that seek to establish security and stability in Syria, while safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
