KSrelief Volunteer Tumor, Gland Surgery Project Underway in Comoros

Moroni: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) inaugurated a volunteer medical project for oncology and endocrine surgery in Moroni city, Comoros. This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to extend medical support to low-income individuals and families worldwide.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project, which is scheduled to run from November 15 to 22, involves 15 volunteer medical specialists from various disciplines. Since the beginning of the campaign, the medical team has examined 34 patients and successfully performed five specialized surgeries.

This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to providing essential healthcare services to underserved populations, reinforcing its role in global humanitarian efforts. The volunteer medical programs aim to address the medical needs of communities in several countries, offering critical support where it's most needed.
