Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Thursday signed a cooperation agreement with a civil-society organization to extensively rehabilitate water resources in the Al-Harj and Hamam areas of Khabb wa ash Sha'af District in Yemen's Al-Jawf Governorate.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project is set to directly benefit 3,155 individuals and outlines several key objectives to ensure the provision of sustainable and safe water. This includes the establishment of two water pumping and distribution networks and two tower tanks, each with a capacity of 50 cubic meters. Additionally, the project will involve the distribution of 22 water tanks of 26 cubic meters each.

The project emphasizes sustainability by enhancing the technical capabilities of personnel in operating and maintaining water projects and distributing maintenance kits. This comprehensive effort is part of the Kingdom's continuous humanitarian commitment through KSrelief to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
