KSrelief Provides 2,000 Dialysis Sessions to Sudanese Kidney Patients in Egypt

Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) provided 2,000 dialysis sessions across 20 hospitals in several Egyptian governorates: The delivery is part of a larger project, in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), aiming to provide 90,000 sessions annually for Sudanese patients suffering from kidney failure in Egypt.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Abu Al-Qasim Abdo Amin, a beneficiary who arrived in Egypt at the start of the Sudanese crisis, expressed profound gratitude to KSrelief and Saudi Arabia for the medical care. He praised the high-quality treatment he received, acknowledging the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to assisting those in need and the excellent professionalism of the medical staff.

The project provides 90,000 annual dialysis sessions and integrated therapeutic services. Its main objectives are ensuring life-saving care, mapping services based on Sudanese population density, and guaranteeing sustainable access to treatment.

The initiative is part of a series of relief and humanitarian projects implemented by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to provide comprehensive care for those in need around the world.
