Aden: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Sunday inaugurated the second phase of a project in Aden Governorate to address local capacity-building needs for educating illiterate and disabled students in Yemen. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to provide necessary support for these underserved groups in the region. According to Saudi Press Agency, the nine-month project aims to deliver high-quality, sustainable educational opportunities across the governorates of Aden, Hadramout, Dhale, Lahij, Shabwah, and Al-Mahra. The project is expected to benefit 9,747 individuals, including 6,527 people with disabilities, 2,389 illiterate students, and 831 educational staff members, who are involved in the targeted centers and schools. This project is a segment of a broader series of humanitarian and relief initiatives undertaken by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief. These initiatives are designed to tackle the challenges faced by educational institutions in supporting people with disabiliti es and combating illiteracy, both of which are significant barriers to the effective integration of these individuals into Yemeni society.
