Jeddah: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has launched a project to support basic education in Burkina Faso as part of the Kingdom's pledge made at the 2024 Donors' Conference to Support Displaced People and Refugees in the Sahel and Lake Chad Region, held in Jeddah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project aims to operate six public schools in Ouagadougou for a full academic year, providing comprehensive educational and social services to students. These include covering school registration fees, distributing daily meals, supplying complete school bags with essential learning materials, and providing a standardized school uniform for all beneficiary students.

These efforts are part of a series of humanitarian and relief projects delivered by Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, aimed at supporting the education sector and improving living conditions for children and families in the world's most vulnerable regions.
