Taiz: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues its efforts to bolster water supply in Taiz Governorate through an emergency relief project. The initiative has made significant strides in addressing the water needs of several districts within the governorate.

According to Saudi Press Agency, between March 31 and April 28, 2026, KSrelief successfully pumped 14,775,000 liters of potable water across multiple districts, including Al-Muzaffar, Al-Qahirah, Salh, Mishra'ah Wa Hadnan, Jabal Habashi, Al-Taiziyah, and Al-Shamayatayn. Additionally, the project saw the completion of 29 community awareness sessions, maintenance of 30 water tanks, and five periodic tests on water sources to ensure compliance with approved standards. The organization also facilitated the transportation of water via tanker trucks to distribution points and health facilities, including a dialysis center in the city.

This initiative is part of the broader humanitarian and relief efforts by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, executed through KSrelief, to enhance the water sector in Yemen. The focus is on achieving food security, fostering development, and laying the groundwork for a dignified life and a promising future for upcoming generations.
