Zanzibar: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered 25 tons of dates to Zanzibar, a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania, as a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the aid was presented by Saudi Deputy Ambassador to Tanzania, Abdullah Al-Qasha'ami, to Ali Suleiman, the Minister of State for Presidential Palace Affairs. The presentation occurred in the presence of a team from KSrelief.
This gift is part of the initiatives by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, aimed at assisting brotherly and friendly countries. The dates are intended for distribution to the neediest families worldwide.
