KSrelief and French Development Agency Enhance Medical Facilities in Tripoli

Tripoli: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in collaboration with the French Development Agency, has opened a new emergency department and primary healthcare center at Tripoli Governmental Hospital. This development is part of the Saudi-French initiative aimed at supporting Lebanon, with financial contributions from the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tripoli Governmental Hospital, Fawaz Hallab, extended his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its support. He emphasized that the contributions made towards equipping and enhancing the hospital's capabilities will significantly improve the healthcare services available to thousands of patients in the city and across northern Lebanon.

Furthermore, Agn¨s Dhur, Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation in Lebanon, underscored the significance of the project. She stated that the new emergency department and primary healthcare center are expected to enhance accessibility to medical services for the local population.
