KSGAAL Opens Registration for Third Edition of Abjad Center

Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language (KSGAAL) has opened registration for the third edition of the Abjad Center, a program designed to teach Arabic to non-native speakers through an advanced academic methodology, with applications accepted until March 15, and in-person study beginning on September 1, 2025.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program has built on the success of its previous editions, witnessing high demand. The first edition drew more than 16,140 applicants from 162 nationalities, with over 130 students from 34 nationalities being accepted. The second edition saw even higher interest, receiving 16,472 applications from 126 nationalities and admitting more than 150 students from over 40 nationalities.

The Abjad Center offers a comprehensive educational experience aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The program comprises four levels, each lasting two months, totaling eight months of study with 160 instructional hours per level, averaging 20 hours per week. It focuses on the core language skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking, while incorporating cultural activities to enrich the learning experience and immerse students in the Arabic-speaking environment.
