Riyadh: King Fahd International Airport has finalized its operational preparations for the 1446 AH Hajj season under the 'Ease and Tranquility' initiative, which aims to facilitate pilgrims' journeys and provide dedicated care and guidance throughout their travel experience.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative is implemented in cooperation with multiple government, private, and charitable organizations. It seeks to ensure the comfort of pilgrims from the moment they arrive at the airport until their return home.
As part of the preparations, the airport reviewed its operational and technical systems for aviation services, evaluated the readiness of its facilities, and assessed its multilingual awareness and guidance plans tailored for Hajj travelers.
CEO of Dammam Airports Company Mohammed Al-Hassany emphasized the unlimited support of the Kingdom's leadership and the continuous directives to prioritize the comfort of pilgrims. He highlighted ongoing coordination with relevant authorities through a fully integrated system designed to achieve high levels of operational efficiency and service quality during this year's Hajj season.
