Cairo: The King Fahad National Library is participating in the Saudi Pavilion at the 56th Cairo International Book Fair.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the library is presenting visitors with a collection of historical photographs documenting the visits of Saudi kings to Egypt, starting with the visit of the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud and continuing through the era of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Additionally, historical coins are showcased through a comprehensive video that highlights Saudi Arabia's cultural and intellectual heritage.
Through its participation, the King Fahad National Library aims to introduce visitors to the Kingdom's history and intellectual contributions, document its cultural ties with Egypt, and enhance cooperation between cultural institutions in both countries. The library also seeks to highlight the Kingdom's rich heritage, including manuscripts, scientific books, and photographs that reflect its history.
