Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority has entered into a memorandum of understanding with a specialized national foundation to foster cooperation in environmental initiatives. This collaboration is set to focus on the creation of aromatic products derived from local natural ingredients, which align with the cultural values of the reserve.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the memorandum aims to enhance collaboration with the private sector to make use of the reserve's natural resources while also supporting biodiversity. The agreement lays the groundwork for future projects that are in line with the developmental and environmental objectives of both parties involved.

As part of the agreement, the foundation will develop aromatic materials employing local distillation methods. The authority will be responsible for issuing the necessary permits to facilitate access to the reserve and oversee distillation activities, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations.

The memorandum also outlines a joint media strategy designed to promote efforts in resource protection and wildlife development. This initiative seeks to elevate the reserve's status as a national hub for sustainable innovation.
