King Abdulaziz International Quran Contestants Tour Madinah’s Historic Sites

Madinah: Contestants in the 45th King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, visited several historic mosques and archaeological sites in Madinah as part of the cultural programs prepared by the ministry for the contestants in this year's edition of the competition.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the cultural program began with a visit to Mount Uhud, the Martyrs of Uhud Cemetery, and Jabal Al-Rumah, where the contestants received briefings on these sites. They also visited Quba Mosque, the first mosque built in Islam, as well as the Prophet's Mosque, where they performed prayers at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah.

The contestants extended their gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their efforts in serving Islam and Muslims, their care for the Holy Quran and its people, their dedication to building and maintaining mosques, and their commitment to providing comfort to worshippers and developing heritage sites for better visitor experiences.
